This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. There is no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and nothing here is sold or shared with anyone.

What is measured

neal-gysemans.pages.dev uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It records the page you opened, the site that linked you here, your browser and operating system, your device type, your country, and how quickly the page loaded.

It does not use cookies or local storage, and it does not fingerprint you. The result is a count, not a profile — there is no identifier tying one visit to the next, so nothing on this site can recognise you as a returning visitor. Cloudflare keeps this data for six months.

The legal basis is legitimate interest: knowing which case studies get read is how the site gets better. Because nothing is written to your device, no consent banner is required — and I would rather show you a page than a dialogue box.

What the server sees

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Delivering any page to you necessarily involves your IP address, which Cloudflare processes to route the request and to protect the site from abuse. That happens for every website you visit; it is a condition of the web working, not a choice this site made.

What is deliberately absent

• No contact form, no sign-up, no account.
• No embedded third parties — no analytics scripts beyond the one described above, no social widgets, no comment system.
• Fonts are bundled and served from this domain, so your browser makes no request to Google Fonts or any other font host.

Links to my GitHub, LinkedIn and to the products themselves lead off this site. Those places have their own privacy policies, and this one stops at the edge of this domain.

If you email me

Your message lands in an ordinary mailbox and stays there. I use it to reply to you and for nothing else. Ask me to delete it and I will.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, or ask for it to be corrected or erased, and you can object to it being processed. One honest caveat: the analytics data described above is aggregate and carries no identifier, so there is no way to find “your” rows in it — not as a refusal, but because the data genuinely does not work that way. Email above for anything you have actually sent me.

If you think something here is wrong, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

Changes

If what this site measures changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no mailing list to notify.
